Andrew Dash BE(Chem), MCom - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director

Mr Andrew has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Masters Degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales. He has extensive experience in the energy sector, with particular experience in the commercial development of gas operations and associated infrastructure on a national scale. He previously held executive management roles with the leading energy transmission business APA Group.

Cliff Mallett MSc, PhD, FAIE - Technical Director - UCG .

Dr Mallett has been associated for more than 10 years in advancing the development of the Underground Coal Gas ("UCG") process technology. He has degrees in Geology from the Universities of Queensland and Melbourne and held academic appointments at the Universities of Newcastle and Melbourne from 1966 to 1978. He has almost 30 years experience in mining research at CSIRO culminating in acting as Chief of CSIRO Exploration and Mining Division, interim Director of the Centre for Low Emission Technology, and Executive Manager, Queensland Centre of Advanced Technologies.

Prem Nair B Bus (Acctg), MBA, FCA, FCIS, FTIA, MAICD - Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Mr Nair has over 30 years experience in the accounting profession and commercial arena. His experience includes leading finance teams in public listed entities covering exploration, resources, technology and construction industries. He has over 20 years experience in corporate governance and company secretarial roles and was previously a tax manager for a leading Australian Chartered Accounting practice. Mr Nair is responsible for the overall financial management and corporate management activities of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Rusty Mark BSc - General Manager Business Development

Mr Mark has a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and five years experience in R&D in mining, energy and environmental science.

Mr Mark brings a variety of experience in business development and marketing in waste management and waste treatment groups. Mr. Mark was also the project manager for environment compliance and project approvals for major Australian coal and energy companies (eg. BHP Mitsui Alliance, Conico, ERM) while working for the consulting firm ELP.

Mr Mark has been involved in the development of UCG technology over the past eight years with the CSIRO, particularly in the assessment of its environmental impact and benefits, and also in developing economic models and market strategies for UCG implementation.

John Wedgwood B.Com - General Manager Operations

Mr Wedgwood was formally an officer in the Australian Armed Forces with major communications projects in South East Asia and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Mr Wedgwood has worked in general manager roles for Cable and Wireless (for its international arm) and Hong Kong Telecom. He has held technical management roles with Energex (the QLD Power Authority) and has major project experience in South East Asia, China, New Zealand and Australia.

Peter Swaddle - General Manager Commercial

Senior Commercial and Marketing Executive with over 16 years experience with two of Australia's major national brand leaders. Mr Swaddle has a proven track record in commercial development and strategic brand positioning with extensive experience in both product development and project management.

Mr Swaddle previously held Market Development and Brand Management roles with leading Natural Gas transmission business APA Group. Prior to joining APA Group Mr Swaddle held national general management and senior marketing roles with Telstra's Business Divisions.

Mr Swaddle's role is to implement and monitor commercial arrangements for Carbon Energy's wholly owned technology. These commercial arrangements include alliances and partnerships. Additionally this role encompasses development of effective communications to specified external stakeholders and general promotional information to enhance Carbon Energy's market position.
